heritage single comb rhode island reds

I will have Single Comb Rhode Island Red chicks available mid May. These are heritage S.C.Rhode Island Reds. Very good deep,rich mahogany red. They develop much quicker than most heritage breeds. Pullets start to lay in 4 1/2 months. Nice big brown eggs. These Reds are bred to the APA Standard and can compete at any level. All chicks are straight run. Chicks are $6 each,minimum 12. Less than 20 add $7 for heat packs. Express mail shipping is $35.

Do you allow chicks to be picked up and if so is there still a minimum?

We do allow pickup. Six is the minimum if picked up.

I never really liked the RIR until I saw some show birds in person. Now everyother RIR i see is just orange and sickly by comparison. Lol
These birds are a wonderful color.
