my little chick was showing such good signs of improvement. then i went in to check on him tonight and he was gone. just like that. i still can't believe it. i just wish i had done cuddle time with him sooner. then he could have at least expired with a little extra love. i know this may seem silly, but it bugs me that he died alone. but at least he had a few more days than he might have...
