I have this adorable little frizzle rooster..
He's only 11 weeks old. He is already proving to be a good little man. He will alert the others when he finds something good to eat, and he already protects his girls. He started taking attitude with me last week, biting me when I put my hand near him. I picked him up and talked babytalk to him. He was totally embarassed. LOL next time he thought about biting me, he changed his mind, but he did the little " I'm going to charge at you" foot shuffle thing.
I laughed so hard- he's only a little taller than my ankle.
So yesterday, I hear this muffled sounding crowing. It couldn't be him.. he's only 11 weeks old. Plus, it was a halfway decent crow.
But yup.. it was him

Then, tonight, I go into the coop. Usually, they are in a little pile on the floor on the left. Today, I look left- no chickens. I almost started to panic. I call for them, and hear peeping- They were on the roosts (and the studs) along the front wall.
My babies are roosting.. and CROWING. They are growing up.. *sigh*
