Hesitabt about security

I'm skeptical about them getting into the coop though.

Oh. Why is that? What is your coop like? Mine is a converted wooden shed that opens into a very large walk-in type dog kennel (300 sq ft). And I use a tumbler lock on the coop when they're locked up for the night. Raccoons have great dexterity, but they don't know my lock's combination to get in.

Large OverEz coop. I put hardware cloth on the vents and on the windows.

Oh - you're good then! Just get locking mechanisms for any exposed doors.
