In the Brooder
Hey BYC addicts!
Me and my wife decided to embark on our chicken journey on the beginning of the pandemic. We built an A-frame tractor coop based on this design.
We started our flock by taking in 3 already grown hens that used to be my sister's flock and due to a relocation she couldn't keep then. Then we recently added 2 pullets to the mix.
Starting with the fully grown girls:
1. Sara Lee - Blackstar
2. Amora - Wyandotte (the coop bully)
3. Sansa - Whiting True Green (she has issues, although my sister reported that she used to lay, she has never laid an egg here, last summer the heat almost got her)
Then our 2 new additions:
4. Elizabeth - Easter egger
5. Boudica - Prairie bluebell
We just love our chickens so much and they brought us so much joy at home. We also have and a .
Looking forward to see many more beautiful chickens here!
