Hey, can I feed my baby chicken cockroaches??

I was going downstairs and I stubbled a group of medium-sized American cockroaches right near my kitchen. I brought my chicken down and it started to chase down and eat every cockroach. Is American cockroaches harmful to chickens??

Only if they've been eating poison.

I presume you want to get rid of the roaches? I have accomplished that task using relatively safe boric acid - but NOT the "bait" preparations that cost a lot, and accomplish nothing. If you want to hear more, just say the word.
