Hey, can I get some advice?

Ooh, is it really 49? Wow, I might have to break that one gently to Mum :lau In the form of an extra 30 birds :celebrate She'd do her nut. I got the last 4 when she was on holiday and wasn't going to tell her apart from one ended up with a broken wing and I couldn't remember which vet we used... It's great to know I could take them in. Here are the hens of concern (cocky at the back lives with me these days). Aren't they gorgeous? I would never go out and buy hens like these because I love my badly behaved ex bats but I do appreciate their beauty and good manners ;)
Lovely hens there and I'm sure they would appreciate being with you :D I'm sure you could talk your mum round to just the three extra ;)

So I happily said to my mum "you know, I was thinking of getting another few hens. I've been told I can have 30 more". She chirpily replied back "I believe they may frown on that in council housing"

If I can't train my neighbour I am sure she will suffer through another 3 though. To be fair she suffers from seeing next doors exposed as much as I do.

My latest plan is to print out an 'article' which I may have to write because I haven't seen anything suitable about how to look after your chickens now the nights are getting longer and take it round as I know she isn't experienced. Because actually I would love her to succeed as a chicken owner, I just want to slap her a lot right now. Think about it, if I can have 30 more hens, she can have 46 more so that's a lot of hens we could save between us.... As ulterior motives go I have the best one. Even if I do covet her hens on the quiet.
