I'm new to BYC..... my wife and I bought some chicks on April 1st 2016..... I built a brooder out of a plastic tote from Wally World and the rest is history. I guess I went a little crazy building the coop.... I was told that it was over kill by friends who have had chickens for some years now.... but I don't listen to them....I take good care of everything that depends on me and loves me back.... so my Chicken Manor is just right for my 5 chickens.... who know, there may be more in the future...... I'm glad we found this site and I'm sure there will be lots of questions and thung's to share in the near future.....

Hi and welcome to BYC - glad that you have joined us and congrats on your coop!

You'll find lots of info in the Learning Centre
https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center, and if you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.

You may wish to consider joining your state thread as it will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area - https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you

All the best
