Gee, what on earth is the deal with the Orps? They seem to take shipping really hard. Someone just hatched a couple, but sometimes they also lost a few. I have hatched them here just fine, but then again, I also have removed one or two from the bator where the fertility didn't "take", so to speak. Well, at least they were your extras anyway. Maybe in the spring, we can get you some more, Twila! At least the Ameraucanas you really wanted are doing well! Congrats. Cant wait to see those poufy cheeks!

I think 2 might have had busted yolks. I pulled them last night so I haven't cracked them open yet. But that's ok I have my ameraucana's and I will let you know in the spring time when I want to try the blue orps again.

You let me know. I'm trying my best to get some more Blue Orp layers that will be laying by sometime in the spring. It was just a whim, sending those, since they weren't spoken for at the time. I just wish they'd been able to hatch. But, the Ameraucanas seem to be pretty tough little critters!
