We are right in the west so have missed the worst but we have about 1 inch tonight and it is still falling. I live on a hill so will be going nowhere tomorrow - day off work and school so we will enjoy that!!

Wow! I just looked at the news about it! Get some supplies laid in and settle down for a cozy evening.

It's like when our southern states (I'll leave them nameless so as not to start a Blue and Gray battle!) get an inch or two of snow! It might as well be a foot or two if you're not used to it, no one's prepared. We just cleaned up after about a foot and we're expectng a little more tomorrow, but only another dusting!

Time to start a pot of soup and maybe bake some bread. I hope you stay toasty warm and safe!

it is fantastic here today - we have had about 2 inches and after a bracing walk this morning are toasty by the fire and intend to stay there! the chickens are not impressed and are in the stable. the dogs love it and fly around the field like lunatics - brilliant, the old girl always gets a new lease of life and behaves like a pup! Looks like we may still be snowed in tomorrow - the breadmaker is working hard!

Our snow turned to rain in the night, so we don't have a drop of the white stuff today.

do what people here do, raid the stores to stock up on milk and bread.

We usually get snow then it melts in a couple days but Ive had snow on the ground for many weeks with some ice underneath. We are getting more right now but only maybe another 2 inches. Love it while it lasts
