Need some opinions. We have a large chicken run but need to create a house inside of it. My kids want to just enclose an area of the tun with tarps w/ roosts, nesting boxes and food/water inside. I don’t feel this is sufficient for the chickens feeling safe and for winter time weather. I live in VA so the weather is not severe like other parts of the country. What are your thoughts?

They need a predator proof, wind shielded, dry space to roost in over night. Tarps aren't going to cut it. Is the run predator proof with a solid roof?

It is a tarped roof but the sides are wire so it is predator proof
