Hello everybody,
I just wanted to take the time to introduce myself since I am new here. My name is Delta, and I am 24 years old from a little town in south Georgia. I have a wonderful husband, 2 dogs who are like our children Izzy & Rhett, a lionhead bunny named Rocky, and 12 new little female Ameraucana chicks. This is my first time ever raising chicks, but so far I have absolutely loved it! I joined this site because there's still so many questions I have. I'm trying to learn all that I can pretty quickly, because I want to give these little chicks the care they deserve! These chicks are not being raised for meat, or even eggs as far as I care, I guess you could say I'm just doing it for a hobby or to give me something to keep me busy since I stay at home as a homemaker. Everyone who's posted on my different threads has already been so nice & helpful. I look forward to learning more and helping where I can!

Thank you! I've actually got 12 chicks, I got 6 today and 6 less than a week ago! And if one turns out to be a boy we would still keep it. My husband is building a rooster pen separate from my hen house hes working on!
