Hello and welcome to my chat thread 🐔👋
I’m making another one of these because the last one Went a bit silent and I was starting to talk to myself... Am I really that boring?? 😬 😂

Allow me to introduce myself.
I live in Ireland.
I have 30 chickens, 27 Brahmas, blue buff columbian, golden partridge, blue partridge and lemon Pyle are their colours, I could go through them all individually but I wouldn’t want to bore you..,1 RIR, 1 buff Orpington and 1 buff Orpington mix.
only had around 10 chickens at the beginning of last year but I became a bit of a Hatchaholic.. it was around 50 at one stage ...
The plan was to breed them but they ended up getting a respiratory illness so now I’ve decided to keep them as a closed flock. Which is kinda what I was going to do anyways because no one was buying the roosters and I just had so many.
15 ducks, the colours are magpie, Rouen, khaki and a few mixed. 10 Guineas, 2 cocker dogs, 2 rabbits 2 cats

Hey :frow I don't even know how many chickens I'm up to right now, but I breed barnyard mixes that are mainly mixed with Jersey Giant. I just started incubating eggs last year so I'm just learning as I go. I am a huge animal person and I have always had animals plus worked jobs that had to do with them. I'm someone who loves extreme heat and the summertime. You can find me outside 99.9% of the time once the weather is warm. I like to read books when I have down time.

We got into rescuing chickens. This girl had no flock left because of a raccoon so we took her in and gave her old family new chicks to replace what they lost. We named her Ol' Red, she's as sweet as can be.

Here's my prized possession. Her name is Blue Footed Booby (it's a bird I love that I saw on a documentary). We are incubating some of her eggs right now since we finally got a rooster that's her size.

Meet HeiHei... The rooster that was given to us by the kindness of someone's heart. He has been quite the addition to our flock.

Here's the boy who started it all... Squatch. We were supposed to get sexed pullets, but suprise suprise. We got 2 Cockerels, one was rehomed due to his poor attitude. I worked with him for months until I realized he was a for for our flock. Squatch is a gentle giant. I have a few pullets from my Halloween hatch that I'm waiting to lay so I can see what their eggs are like.

These are some of the chicks that I've hatched so far. I'm hatching bantam eggs right now and I cannot wait to see what they look like.

Bantam polish egg with a barred rock egg. I'm obsessed with our bantams eggs. They're the perfect size for our puppy 😂

Nice flock!
seeing all those chicks makes me want to hatch something again
im the same, I cannot wait till the weather starts getting warmer.
I have a lot of tidying up to do outside, there’s leafs everywhere and all the stones that I put out on the pathways last year have washed away because all the storms we’ve been getting here.
Our dogs love the eggs too lol

Hello, :frow

I like to be called Clucky, and that's what most people call me when they find that out! I am currently raising a small flock of chickens, and I've had them for a little over 1 year. I have 3 Golden Laced Wyandotte's and 3 Buff Orpington's. I love both breeds!

I'm hoping to get barred rocks, easter eggers, and more Buff Orps and Wyandotte's sometime.

Find pictures of my cuties in my albums. :)
