the other golden partridge pullets in the photos are Lunas offspring...
Remember the hen with the impacted crop ? :)
she’s doubled in size since she got better.

Ok! let's introduce myself....

I started 6 years ago with seven Isa Brown hens.
Now i have
one of the first hens, she's called Marina and she is 6yy old,
Two black little black laying hens (probably they're Black Stars)
And a silkie hen

All living together, happily

They do look like black stars...
We had one black star and a few isa brown hens a few years ago, they’re fantastic layers. I like the swing idea but my Brahmas would probably be too big and heavy to use it 😂

Aww....love all your photos! :love Thank you for the update on the hen that had the crop issues, I LOVE to hear they survived and are now thriving. She looks fabulous!

They've awesome personalities, all different. I love them. :love
I think that if you use a good rope (like the rope of children swing), you could do one, too.
The wood branch is the best option, instead of a little board. Chickens can grab the branch and so they can balance better :)
