Ok! let's introduce myself....

I started 6 years ago with seven Isa Brown hens.
Now i have
one of the first hens, she's called Marina and she is 6yy old,
Two black little black laying hens (probably they're Black Stars)
And a silkie hen

All living together, happily
Eating

Drinking

Eating again

They do look like black stars...
We had one black star and a few isa brown hens a few years ago, they’re fantastic layers. I like the swing idea but my Brahmas would probably be too big and heavy to use it

Aww....love all your photos! Thank you for the update on the hen that had the crop issues, I LOVE to hear they survived and are now thriving. She looks fabulous!

They've awesome personalities, all different. I love them.
I think that if you use a good rope (like the rope of children swing), you could do one, too.
The wood branch is the best option, instead of a little board. Chickens can grab the branch and so they can balance better
