We have chickens. We, meaning my husband and myself. We live in Maple Ridge BC Canada. We have had chickens for about a year and half. I LOVE them. We like to let them roam the property however that can be sad as we do have bears and bobcats. Still, I think it’s important to have them out with us while we are gardening and doing yard work. I do my utmost best to keep an eye on them as they are so inquisitive. I have 5 new babies.
Willow, Ash , Bill, Gorby , and one yet to be named.
 
In the past, yes. Please ‘bear’ with me. I’m not good on a computer or phone.
i have had a couple of my favourites become meals.
I understand instincts. But I also understand that my babies cant be cooped up. Thank so not cool.
