Hi, my name is Heather and I'm fairly new to owning my babies. I have one cochin bantam rooster named Hoppy, one splash Maran hen and two sebright (I beleive) bantam hens. I'm open to as much pointers, tips and tricks as possible!

Laying means - female chickens laying eggs.

Oh okay. No. I don't have any laying yet. If I'm right I believe my splash Maran hen is about 7 months old and hasn't laid any yet and my other hens I got just last week and I'm honestly not sure what they are but the lady said she got them as day old chick's back in May.
