Hi Guys and Gals,
I have been checking things out here for about two months and decided to give it a go. Old rooster that has been raising all type of livestock for fifty+ years. Got a life sentence with a good wife, four children and four grandkids. Avid gardener, as well as anything outdoors. Camping, fishing, foraging, hiking, you name it.

I did residential remodeling for thirty five years, and have been working the last five years with special needs adults, which is extremely rewarding. I also work with several non-profits helping individuals with gardening in the city. I was also a 4H advisor for five years and still look forward to the fair and today's youth.

We had dairy goats, chickens, ducks, and rabbits as kids and I kept it going as an adult. We had been raising hogs and lambs for sale until last year when we turned that over to my Son and Daughter in law. I have no birds now but really miss them. Especially my ducks . We also have a twelve year old mini Dachshund (Roxanne), and a fish tank of freshwater shrimp (neocaridina)

Looking forward to helping my grandkids with 4H projects and BYC popped up somewhere in my search for unique birds. My son and daughter in law were both in 4H as kids (poultry and equine).

Looking forward to chatting with everyone.

Hello there and welcome to BYC! :frow

Very nice intro! 4-H gives kids a wonderful start to animal husbandry and poultry! I was involved in 4-H when I was young, some of the most fun years of my life.

Make yourself at home here and enjoy all the poultry chat! :)

Msk
