Hey from Cincinnati

Hi there! Just your friendly Duck Lady from Cincinnati, OH. My family and I have raised ducks in our suburban backyard since 2017. We’ve always had anywhere from 6-30 ducks; many different breeds I’ve either bought as hatchlings or inherited from others. We raise them for eggs and love being able to share extra eggs with our community.
We have three kids, a dog, and a big fish tank. We live smack dab in suburbia and keeping our shed and pen hasn’t been without zoning challenges but this summer we had a major win with a zoning variance from the township that saved our flock.
I’ve come to this board for years for insight into keeping ducks but recently joined to post for help. Great community!!
