Hi. I am fairly new to having chickens. We got our flock of 50 RIR about 9 months ago. We are down to 26 now, one died a few days after we got them, 29 got left in MI when we moved last fall (the back of the pick up just could not hold all of them
) 3 have died since we moved and we sold one roo. I just put 29 eggs in out bator as none of the hens want to sit yet. One will sit over night, then abandons the nest
I really hope we get a good hatch as would love more hens to keep up with the demand we have for eggs and would like to get some roos in the freezer! At some point I would like to get some EEs!
