Lyons (if any of you know) is a VERY small town with many eco-friendly characters!
It has become a new trend to own as many as 5 or 6 hens in our town- even in the most urban of neighborhoods, so my family and I have decided to get some hens! I have never owned chickens but my mom did when she was little so I "know" what it's like. We have 4 or 5 neighbors who own chickens and say that they are fun and great in the "going green" lifestyle...we hope to have the same fun! I will probably be posting many "dumb" questions about chickens and chicken stuff, so bare with me!
