Hey from Southeastern North Carolina!

Welcome. I have fermented with Scratch & Peck and it worked out well. Same recipe that @Debbie292d shared. Feeders are inherently bad with either/or a lot of waste or the potential for mold. I have moved to bowls inside of bowls. I will take a picture.

I didn't like using feed as it just became mushy. Your Scratch & Peck looks very much like our Henhouse Reserve, mostly grains. I didn't put that I add a bit of hard red winter wheat, whole oats, a smidge of flax seeds and Chia seeds. I bet you have little tricks too. 😊

The feed in the bowl in the picture is not Scratch and Peck alone. It is a combo of Scratch & Peck, hudson feed, henhouse reserve, black peppercorns, flaxseed, marigold, oregano, and Nutrena tibits immunity support.
