I have 24 RIR's - 12 Buff Orpingtons - 16 Barred Rocks & 12 Black Australops....come to think of it no wonder I'm tired! LOL I do love them all though. I find so much peace caring for them.

That's a great mixed flock. Black Australorps are my favorite standard breed chicken as they are very hardy, calm and gentle, and great layers of large, brown eggs. I also like Buff Orpingtons for their beauty and gentle temperament and for these reasons I keep a few of them in my flock. Good luck with your flock.
