Hey goose people, help me out!

Great job rescuing him or her! It's a mixed breed. Maybe something like African or brown Chinese crossed with Embden, but impossible to say for sure. From it's behavior it seems to be female, but only eggs or a genetic test will confirm it. If it is another male it may get on fine with your African so long as no females are brought in.

Thank you. So far, she and Sunshine have gotten along wonderfully since day 1. Sunshine has never met a female. His partner in crime for the first couple years was a Chinese gander named Lollipop. They were best friends until Lollipop was killed by a raccoon. He's been alone for a couple years now. He actually designated himself as an honorary turkey and chose to live with them for a while. Now that Gypsy is here, he has happily left the Campania of the turkeys to be with her instead so I think either way, he's just thrilled to have a companion of his own kind again.
