Welcome to BYC! Good for you that you found our site. Having never incubated eggs, I'm out as a source of info, sorry.

LOTS of other folks on this site HAVE hatched eggs & are sure to weigh in with some help. I understand your concern & why. Best I can offer is:

"Breathe slowly, try not to panic, things will work out the way that they're supposed to." I know, it's easy to say & harder to do.

You are most likely fine. Hens will get off the eggs from time to time.
