hey guys, I'm new here, and I was wondering if it's possible to determine the species & age of a chi

Well the back story is, my dad bought these two little chicks from the local feed store, and the only info they had

on these chick we're that they're baby browns. That was all I got when I asked what kind of chickens they were. It would be nice if someone could clarify.
