My nane is Danielle and im a Semi-new chicken lover. I had always wanted chickens and last April I finally got my first 6. We got 4 sapphire gems and 2 Rhode island reds. This year we added 6 more - 2 starlight green Eggers, 2 golden comets and 2 buff orphingtons. Then one of my sapphire gems went broody.

I purchased 6 fertilized eggs. 2 broke in transit. 2 she pushed out of the nest and they broke. 2 hatched yesterday and I'm beside myself with excitement! Chicken math is real!

I'm looking forward to learning about other breeds and meeting new people here!
