I just joined yesterday and have already found this place extremely useful. I am a teenaged bird obsessed boy that lives on Long Island, NY. Peafowl are my favorite type of bird, which can be awkward. I have raised peafowl and guineas and will soon have chickens (it is a matter of convincing my parents, which I am very good at). I just tell them the horrors of battery pens and the problems with cornish crosses, they are horrified. I really want BCMS or maybe silkies and buff orpingtons.
