hey i hope theres pictures now

Looks like a dead ringer for a black sex link to me too. Are you sure she's the one laying the green egg? I would have guessed the darker brown egg was hers.

He said in the other thread that she lays green eggs. That's what I was going by. I do agree that she looks like a BSL, though. Maybe he is wrong on the egg color.

I agree she looks like a BSL but if she is laying the green eggs for a definite then she would be a EE. no matter what comb, tail, muffs/lack of she has. From what I have read on these posts EE do not conform to any particular physical attributes but the majority do have pea combs, muffs, green legs, and of course lay blue/green eggs. And some people say that they have had EEs lay brown eggs.

EEs do not necessarily have any particular physical traits. The only thing they all have in common is that they had an ancestor who laid blue eggs.

Yes, there are many that have muffs & beards, and yes, most have pea combs, but there is no standard for an EE. It is possible for a single combed bird to lay blue/green eggs. The odds are heavily against it, but it can occur.

If there is any doubt as to which colour of egg she lays, the OP can put a drop or two of food colouring in her vent. It will leave streaks on her eggs for several days.
