hey i need a bit of help here can anyone tell me the ingredients in comershal food

thank you very much its not that i cant by it but i would very much like to keep much of my livestock food grown on my land

You'll probably need a premix, because finding all of the ingredients to make the minerals correctly balanced would be ridiculously hard. You want it to contain all of the right amino acids and vitamins as well.

Most formulations then contain hay, soybeans or peas, and corn and oats. The soybeans or peas are very high in protein (~25%, depending on variety and growing conditions) while corn contains only about 8%, and oats contain about 12%.

I knew a lady who measured out all of her ingredients onto a tarp and mixed it on that, before using the tarp to pour it into a barrel. The easier way is to use a feed mixer, which can cost depending on size and durability.

Most home-mixed feeds are either whole grains or a mash. Pellets are usually not a possibility, unless you want to shell out money for binder and an extruder.
