(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I've had my chicken for around half a year, maybe less, but ive always been around chickens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have one hen at the moment, we are trying to find a hen she will get along with so she has something to do all day.
(3) What breeds do you have?
My hen is a rhode island red
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I found it when researching chickens and advice on chickens.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I do art and volunteer at sanctuaries.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My family and i are vegan and pearl is a rescue chicken. She is the queen above our 2 dogs and 2 cats.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of Pearl and her friends when they arrive, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
