There are Kings and Queens, Knights and damzels, Surfs and shire reefs. All the rest are Pheasants!??Welcome to Backyard chickens. I wonder if the pheasant was someone's previous pet.At least you don't have to worry that he is rabid. Birds are not mammals and don't get rabies.
One of our BYCers found a very friendly turkey on campus, and some students were afraid of him, so he was removed. Just a lonely bird looking for company. If they don't have a flock, I guess they try to find one.
