(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We just got our first chickens on Friday night. We had purchased chickens for my mother-in-law last year for her birthday so I had previously researched chicken care and love to interact with her chickens every time I go over there.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Right now we have 8, but 4 of them will go to my MIL once they get their feathers in.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode Island Reds
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Family pet as well as eggs.

Riding our side by side, camping, baking, diamond painting

I'm Jenna, My Husband is Adam, we have a 2 1/2 year old daughter, Adalynn, Chloe is our cat/dog(she goes outside to potty just like a dog, we don't have a litter box), Winston is our Mountain Cur we rescued in November, and lastly we have Mango, my caique parrot we acquired after Hurricane Milton. We live in SWFL and I'm an Insurance Agent and Adam's an auto detailer.

I found backyard chickens on Google and within seconds of being on the site, signed up for an account because I knew it's going to be a useful resource for our new journey with our lovely red-headed ladies!
