Hello all! We just visited some of our future flock who incubated some cinnamon Queens, Dominique, and mystery birds . We are buying 8 of these. They are 2 weeks old and adorable. We have ordered 19 birds from My Pet Chicken of assorted rare breads that should be here Wednesday. We have set up a brooder in our storage building. Hoping all goes smooth - as for kids. Thinking we can get mail chick's for a couple of weeks and then the older ones to minimize pecking.

I have a wide variety I have 3 Americana hen but a coyote took 1, a Rhode island red hen and 2 Rhode island red chicks, a golden sex link hen, a Egyptian hen, a fancy Iowa blue chick a fancy phoenix chick

So I just got back from vacation and my brother was taking care of my chickens and he tells me he fed my hens chick grower feed for 5 days are my hens going to be ok ?
