The Rhode Island ones are about 1 yr old (according to the farmer). The 3 others are 1.5 to 2 yr old (according to a friend of mine)

so the barred rock is 1.5 to 2 yrs? If so, that's a pullet.

That's what I have been told but I don't believe that the ages they gave me were right. So I have no clue. I have been just been going off the information that was given to me when I picked up the birds. I had the Rhode Islands since May 30th and the others since Mid-June.
