Hey! I just hatched some this weekend also!! (Not from anyone on BYC). I had 24 eggs and 8 hatched. Although when I candled the light ones I found cracks and empty eggs so I knew my hatch rate was giong to be low.

Funny, they hatched on day 16 but I left the eggs in until this morning (day 18) and I had one last suprise in there when I woke up!

They are super cute chicks! Mine are for a hexagon aviary my dad is building for me. On the spring well be adding finch!

They are neat little birds.
I can't make heads or tails of my different colors --- there are white ones, silvery ones, buffy mottled ones, dark chocolatey ones, and grayish ones, lol.

[Poison Ivy]

I was thinking I might only get half to hatch but I had all 13 develop and they all made it to the end but a brown & a silver one just didn't pip. So sunday I opened them and they were dead. I wish I had helped on saturday I think they would have made it. I seen the eggs rocking and then they stopped. But I guess it wasn't meant to be but I very happy with the results! My daughter is keeping the yellow one for herself and then I want to keep a brown stripe,buff & silver one.
