Iv been getting deep into chickens lately with top one being bcm have bought super dark eggs few different people on ebay looking forward to raising darkest eggs in my area mainly bragging rights lol super hard to candle though .....what's thought on not candling and just letting it run course

There are different kinds of eggs that are hard to candle. Obviously dark eggs, emu eggs, and some types of quail eggs are difficult or impossible to candle.

I would still try candling once at lockdown to maybe see if you can find cracks or possibly any quitters in some. Some you might not be able to see anything, but I am the type of person that likes to know, so I check.

There might be different candlers that would be better for dark eggs than others. I usually just use my phone, so I am not sure if anything would be better than that, like more lumens possibly, would help.

You could possibly ask in the Incubating Forum for some more advice.

Good luck with your dark eggs and hatching!
