Welcome. Are you aware that a sick quail can spread it's illness to your chickens?

I sometimes catch the one rooster pecking at one particular female and I end up having to remove her and bring her with me so that he doesn't hurt her. At this point I really don't know what to do with him. I hope he grows out of it.

Actually by sick I mean that there's something wrong with her leg. The toes seem to be twisting in a strange position and so she has difficulty walking. I keep the quails in a separate flight cage. Perhaps u could tell me what's wrong with her and how I could help her. Thanks.
