Those are beautiful chickens! do you have to keep Silkies inside to keep them dry or can they run around outside with other chooks (who don't seem to mind the rain if they can shelter under the trees a bit)?
 
silkies can be out wth the big boys outside just like any other chickens. my silkies play in the rain more than the rest of my flock.
