Hey, so I am new to this whole kind of thing, so my apologies if I get off track. A few things about me, I love animals, gardening, and nature in general. I was a wee little girl when my mother first got chickens, and my babysitter also had a flock of beautiful birds, so my love started early. I unfortunately, don't have any chickens right now, but would very much like to remedy that. My sisters have chickens whom I love to visit, but makes it harder to know that I am going home to a birdless place. My husband used to raise bantams, pheasants, quail, and other exotic birds, until his health declined and work and me happened. As we continue to move forward, hoping his kidney transplant works this time, and get things in place, I am hoping that getting back into the bird world will be very soon. I am also hoping to gain insight from people who have been at this even longer then I have. I have been blessed in the past with super healthy, sturdy, well behaved "kids", but seeing some of the difficulties that some people in my circle have had, I would feel better being a part of something like this, where I can ask well acquainted people questions and get trustworthy feedback. Also get to know more varieties then what I know or have had previously. It's just fun. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of this!
