I didn’t really know how to introduce myself so I’ll use this template. I have many questions and I hope you all can help me! 
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
yes, I’m new to chickens. we haven’t had them for a year yet.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Right now I have 7 adults and 3 chicks.
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have a mixed bunch. We have plymouth rock rooster, red sexlink, I think 2 of my hens are black sexlink, 2 black ausralorp white leghorns, and I’m not sure about my boy Goober he could be anything but he is beautiful

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I treat them as pets, I enjoy it to the fullest. Besides the winter where it gets -40 sometimes and I’m constantly worried.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I don’t have many other hobbies because I work all year round, most of my time is spend caring for our pets and livestock
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
i have a boyfriend of 7 years who enjoys having livestock as well. We have 2 dogs, Binky and Abby, a male tabby cat, Boots, a hedgehog named Taz, a tank full of guppies, 7 ducks, 10 chickens (including the babies) 13 quail. I work home care for my elderly grandmother who has dementia and I love learning new things!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you
finally join our awesome community?
we did ALOT of research in the past year for our birds and every time this website had the answers we were looking for. I decided to join so I can ask my own questions
