I just joined, but I've been stalkin' around on this forum for a long time now.

I was too lazy to make an account, but here I am now! I just got chickens this year, it was pretty unplanned. Me and my family went to our local Dodge's Agway and we just fell in love with the little balls of fluff chirpin' around.

So we got two golden comets, two easter eggers, one black sex link, and one rhode island red. Their names are Antoine the Chicken & Cooper (the comets), Bonnie & Clyde (the easter eggers), Jesus (the black sex link), and Penny (the rhode island red. After brooding them for 5 weeks in our pool house, we converted our garden shed into a chicken coop and there it is!

I hope I learn a lot from all of you who are experienced, since this is my first flock ever!

Welcome Haylee and Haylee's brood!

Enjoy your babies, because they sure grow up FAST! First flocks are the best! I still have 4 of my 5 original girls - they are four years old now!

Watch out for chicken math, because it can sure sneak up on you!!!

Thanks! And oh my gosh, I know, they seem to grow overnight sometimes and I'm not even sure if they really are 7 weeks old

I'm just going by when the store owners said they hatched, haha. I can't wait for my first egg, I will surely celebrate on here!
