Just joined the group. I have been "lurking" around for a while...even BC (before chickens). We got our flock on Labor Day weekend and they are already so spoiled. You better take out a goodie for them or you'll hear about it. I am Susan from Lufkin, TX. First time I've been around chickens really and I love it. We have 11 girls (all named and tagged with their own little charms). Andy my husband has been around them before but he's very smitten with ours already. They will sit in your lap, on your shoulder and eat out of our hands. Will tell you all their names some other time. Take care and happy chickening. LOL

Hi Susan,

I'm pretty new too, and I lurked for a long time before coming out of the shadows. My flock are about a month or so behind yours. They are a hoot to watch. Now that they're passing the T-Rex stage they're starting to look like little mini hens. I've only got four and there's one that I'm observing closely, as she might be a he.
