Hello all y'all!
This is Josh at the Coney Cottage Homestead. I have been raising chickens for eggs and meat(and because I enjoy having them around) for 8 years. This website/community has been a great resource for a good while and now I am finally getting around to making a profile, haha. After returning home from a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ in the great state of Texas(where I made many new friends who also raise chickens) I am jumping right back into the chicken raising world. We have a big range of variety in our flock here, but our favorite breeds have been Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks, Americanas and our sex-link chickens. We recently decided to get some Red Broiler chickens too and are excited to raise them! Looking forward to being part of this community again!
