I was also thinkin of getting another couple chicks, wondering if they would calm my Fussy down but 10 weeks dif...so they just might kill each other...not sure how it would go down, so...I am following your question and the responses...good luck on introducing them, by the way.

In this regard, bugies were so much easier, introduceing new ones was, open door, put bird in...
It will happen, and i'll let ya know how it goes.
Ive read a few things on the subject that help.
I was hopeing that the age difference wouldnt be that bad since the older ones wont be adults yet.
But chapter 8 of mypetchicken.com e book had some good ideas

I will keep track. If I was gonna get another chick, it would have to be now, cuz the feedstore is not ordering any more. I just dont know WHAT to do with this crazy chicken.

I called a bunch of them and pesterd them untill one ordered what I wanted haha.
I dont know what to tell you about the chicken, mine like me fine but arnt like that.
I do have one weird one that i cant figure out what the deal is but, heres the list...

*signifcantly smaller then the other 3
she is an australorp
the other 3 are 1astralorpe,and 2 dominiques.
*Made a funny noise the others didnt make when younger.
*Doesnt follow the flock, thought it was the lowest on the pecking order, but now im begining to wonder if it knows there is one.
It does its own thing when it wants to do it and how it wants to do it, while the other 3 run around together all the time.

First to investigate new things, the others dont follow it, it just kinda checks things out on its own
I use the word IT to describe her cause one of my theories is that its a late blooming roo

My other theory is that it was crossed with a banty version.
seems to have absolutly no physical ailment of any kind.. its just weird.

Yea, I had a weird one too, almost just like that, but she followed me everywhere. She was my lil cross beak, and just didnt make it. She really never paid any attention to what the other two were doing, but my Fussy followed her to the ends of the earth, and since she died, the poor lil thing just is...well, like I said...neurotic.
She saw a sparrow the other day bobbing around in the grass and acted so joyful, thot it was the lil crossbeak, I couldjust tell by the way she acted, she started to run over to it, then saw it wasnt Fandango, and I swear she just SLUMPED and looked positively dejected. It was just strange that she could still grieve but she is really intelligent, so I dont discredit her anything. I am pretty sure I could potty train her if I worked with her enuff. Oh by the way, I LOVE hearing bout individual chicken's personalities.

It was supposed to be a pullet, but I never could tell. It died at six weeks, but if a female, she sure was a fiesty lil thing. But she was terribly needy, wanted me to be near all the time, and would come LOOKING for me if I wasnt. Started flying up to edge of box (2 feet) at bout one week. She could jump lil a grasshopper, and was just really ODD looking, like a guinea. They said was probably a recessive gene in her EE blood. Recessive was right, she was hunched over, had a bit ofa tuft, and looked like an ostrich. I sure miss her, she was the daftiest lookin thing, but I wondered bout roo-ness, cuz s/he never followed the others and led them, and was always "jumping" on them, and never startled at ANY noise.
