1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I got my first chickens around 3 years ago and was brand new to chickens then but not now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
14 hens one beautiful rooster and 2 butt head roosters that were supposed to be hens
(3) What breeds do you have?
Easter eggers, barred rocks, amaricana, Plymouth Rock, Wyandotte, favorella, etc
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love that each chicken has her own personality and the eggs
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I also have ducks, geese, rabbits, frogs, turtles, mice, cats and dogs.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I do home health care and am an all around jack of all trades. I have four amazing kiddos as well. Most days it feels like I own a zoo.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I have known about this group for a long time and when I tried to post I realized I hadn’t registered with this site yet.
