I'm kinda new here.....been using this site to learn new things for quite a few months but just joined the other day! Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and my LARGE family!
I'm Kristal (24), been married to my wonderful hubby, Mike(26) for almost 8 years. We have a 7 year old daughter, Kadence and a 5 year old son, Austin. We have a 3 year old Siberian Husky (who we have had since he was 4 weeks old) named Marko who thinks he is human! And last but not least, we have 7 roosters, 19 hens, 5 bantam roosters, 6 bantam hens, 34 (24 pullets, 10 straight run) in the brooder and 6 in the incubator!!! AND....we are supposed to be picking up more bantams this weekend!!
Our breeds include....Silver Laced Wyandottes, Barred Rock, White Rock, Buff Orpington, Black Sexlinks, RIR, Dark Cornish, Light Brahma and probably more I can't think of right now!
Our Bantams include, Black Japanese, Gold and Silver Seabrights, Red Cochins, Dominique Cochin, and Black tailed buff Japenese. We are picking up more Gold and Silver Seabrights, BB Reds and Americana Bantams this weekend!
Like I said, we have a pretty big family....all of our chickens are our pets! We haven't had chickens for very long and we are new to incubating (put first set in yesterday, expected hatch date is April 12th, wish us luck!). So, we are open for an suggestions....
