Hi. My name is Michelle. My family and I just moved to Texas from North Carolina. We are renting an apartment until we purchase land but I am already in the planning stages for my chickens and coop. I am really excited to be here and can't wait to get to know some of y'all!

Greetings form Kansas, Michelle, and

Texas can get big hot in the summer and freezing
cold in the winter. Not quite like North Carolina. But
still, Texas has a lot of pretty to go see and explore.

Meanwhile while your're here you might as well read up
on chickens and just join in the plain old fun we have.
We're a friendly bunch most times.

Welcome, Michelle! I'm new too! My mom used to live in Conroe Texas and we recently moved her to SC to live with us and we're actually NE Ohio transplants. We're getting our first chickens at the end of this month, I'm so excited. My hubby is still working on the chicken run but I'll post a pic of it when it's done.

G’Day from down under Michelle

Welcome!

As you have already received links to some good starting points, I will just wish you all the best.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock when they arrive, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
