Loved your introduction. What a beautiful family you have. Sorry you lost a hen to a neighbor's dog. There are worse things than a chicken scratching up a flower bed, there are DOGS running loose that KILL chickens. Do you know which neighbor's dog it was? I doubt they will offer restitution or keep the dog locked up.

Diva, thank you for the welcoming. Yes, the neighbors dog is a Charpe, but I don't have 100℅ proof. You are correct no restitution.
