Aren't chickens fun to keep? Most people have no idea just how enjoyable they are to raise!

Have you stopped by our learning center yet? Lots of great articles on all the aspects of keeping your birds happy and healthy...https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center

Enjoy your new babies! If you have any questions about them along the way, feel free to ask.

Make yourself at home here and welcome to our roost! :)

Hey
@LisPrissy I am so happy you already love your chickens after 2 months! I wanted to ask you some questions if you ddidnt mind about you and your flock.
1. How many chickens do you have and what breeds?
2. How old are they and are they laying?
3. How are they doing? Do they like their surroundings? Are they used to you?

I hope it isnt to much of a hassle to answer those questions. The link TwoCrows left you is good if you are old or new chicken raiser so whatever rank you are and how experienced check it out it will be worth it. I hope you enjoy BYC so far and keep enjoying it for a long time. You can post updates on how you and your flock are doing here https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/40/family-life-stories-pictures-updates I hope you have a great day and rest of Summer!

We have 4 chicks right now, 2 silkies and 2 reds. They are approx 9 weeks old so no eggs yet. They have become part of the family and seem very content. I was suprised how friendly they are.
