Hey ya'll! New to BYC!

Hey everyone!
I am not new to chickens but have wanting to join BYC for awhile. After the tragic loss to my entire flock (by something big and strong), i took a break from raising chickens for about a year and a half and decided to start all over 2 weeks ago. I have a random assortment of 26 chicks and started turkeys for the first time ever (per my husbands request) and i am loving it!

I completely agree with @sourland. I use 10,000 volts to keep the local black bear momma away.

Thank you, we did install i pretty hefty electric fence around the houses and yard space/chicken area so hopefully it will work. Whatever got them last time managed to break through very sturdy wood on the side of the coop and shredded it in the middle of the night
